A versatile puukko for everyday use. 80 mm forge-finished carbon steel blade slightly curves towards the tip. The sheath is curly birch and the bolsters are brass. In case of the wood moving, there are stripes of birch bark between the bolsters and the handle wood. The sheath is made of tanned leather and dyed red-brown, and it has a protective liner inside. The handle and the sheath have been treated with oil. Both of the puukkos in the picture below were made as a part of my studies for the further qualification for bladesmiths.
