I’m a designer and a bladesmith, originally from Central Finland but currently residing in Masku in Southern Finland. I graduated from Turku University of Applied Sciences in the spring 2014, with a degree in design. In my studies I specialized in product design and product making.
I obtained the further qualification for bladesmiths in Mynämäki Art and Craft College in a competence test in 2012. At 2018 I qualificated as master blade smith. Aside from puukkos and designing, I also take interest in other traditional finnish handicrafts, like birch bark works, which I teach in a community college.
From my page you can find pictures of my puukkos and other projects. From ”designs” you will find sketches, 3D-modelings and finished prototypes. I try to keep the page up to date, adding pictures of new puukkos and other products every time I finish something. In my blog (in finnish) I write about my thoughts and doings. I hope you enjoy your visit!
